Cøsmøstones Generative Art Project

Generative Art:
"Art that in whole or in part has been created with the use of an autonomous system." (wikipedia)

Generative Art is essentially a form of art made by computers, but instead of using paint brushes as an artist, it's created through by either directly writing the code or combining various existing code/toolsets to create a process for the computer to algorithmically & randomly generate, shapes, colors, patterns and ultimately final images.

These images here are from my generative art project, which I started around the end of 2021, after creating, combining the methods which together create these results. My goal was to create truly unique visuals never really seen before. Perceptually organic, yet made fully digitally & generatively.

Each piece is made in 11K (11520x11520) resolution, making them incredibly and immensely detailed. If viewed on a high-resolution display, the sheer amount of constant fine detail is breathtaking. Suffice to say, I'm personally super happy with the results here; and in a way, really proud. Not of me (idc tbh), but proud of the algorithm, or rather set of algorithms that create the visuals of Cøsmøstones.
Depending on how I play around and experiment, sometimes I get stone/rock like textures, sometimes I can create cosmic/nebula-like visuals (hence the name) I'm able to bend the shapes, fiber-like patterns and squeeze them through forms and onto 3D geometry even.
All pieces made so far are "Generative" when it comes to their texture, but I still designed their base shape & made the concepts.

Note: No AI / Machine Learning / Stable Diffusion methods were used whatsoever.

I could make unlimited variations of each one, hence "generative" although each piece cost a LOT of computing power and hundreds of gigabytes of data, it is still possible.

I've only made 37 pieces for the main collection (of which 8 displayed here), which have been well-received by many digital art collectors back in 2022-2023 on Foundation & Opensea.
